A welcome return to The Lounge Club for another fantastic Roast and Rhythm session! Acid Lounge Live brings an electrifying blend of jazz-funk and soulful grooves to the venue on selected Sunday afternoons, pairing unforgettable live music with our famous one-, two-, or three-course Sunday roast.

Meet the Band & Special Guests

Fronted by well-respected guitarist, composer, and vocalist Dave Mascall, Acid Lounge Live is a powerhouse outfit fusing original tracks with timeless soul and jazz-funk classics. Dave’s silky, George Benson–inspired guitar lines set the tone for every performance. His passion for soul and jazz began at just 14 and has taken him across the globe, recording and performing with international legends like Sister Sledge, The Trammps, Jean Carn, The Real Thing, Odyssey, and Junior Walker. His own compositions—including the UK Soul Chart top-10 hit Clap Your Hands—have earned critical acclaim.

The stellar lineup features:

• Julia Quinn: Smooth, soulful lead vocals.

• Anita Carmichael: Rich, expressive saxophone.

• Mike King: Deep harmonic textures on keyboards.

• Raydn Hunter & Neil Robinson: A seriously groovy rhythm section (with ex-JTQ drummer Neil Robinson completing the rhythm drive).

• DJ Jonny Layton: The legendary former Goldmine, Caister, and Soul City Radio DJ keeping the energy flowing and spinning tunes between sets from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Expect dynamic improvisation, tight horn lines, and infectious rhythms—the ultimate Sunday soundtrack.
